HCA Statement of Purpose

Help for Children of America’s purpose is to strengthen the family’s ability to provide an environment conducive to the health, happiness and safety of its children.  Through helping the primary caregiver and/ or guardian to cope with and overcome a crisis situation, HCA mitigates the risk of a breakdown in family structure, and helps to decrease significantly any negative impact to the child.

HCA works with and strengthens the relationships among the numerous individuals, communities, private and government organizations crucial in providing comprehensive and effective support to children and families in need.  HCA believes that the whole of our efforts, if compassionately executed and thoughtfully integrated, can form a web so tightly woven that no child can fall through.
